The azulejos (white and blue ceramic tiles) became known through the Moors, and were fully embraced by the Portuguese, when their king Manuel I, during a visit to the Alhambra palace in Southern Spain, was enchanted by the stunning beauty of the Moorish decorative tiles and asked for his own palace to be decorated in the same way. Azul therefore invites you, a decoration artist, to fulfill the King’s wish and beautify the walls of the Royal Palace of Evora!
